Control System Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop together with Minesto in the long term. You will be working in the Electrical and Controls Group based in Gothenburg but also close to our colleagues in Northern Ireland and Wales.
The work in this position focuses on tasks that further develops the software that controls the power plant (kite) in the water. This means the role includes SIMULINK coding, simulation, in-depth analysis of big data from previous flights and collaboration with Minesto’s hydrodynamic experts and engineers from the operational branch.
The role will also involve participation in offshore testing programs either on site or over remote connection, in a key position where the successful candidate will be expected to control the system during parts of the commissioning programs.
A technical education with minimum Master's degree in engineering
Professional experience with design of closed loop controls systems
Professional experience of SIMULINK
Professional experience with programming language like Python
Experience with embedded systems
Experience from analysis of big data
Experience from the commissioning process of control systems
Experience in motor servo system

The role is a full-time position based at Minesto’s office in Gothenburg but will include work activities at other Minesto sites such as the Faroe Islands, Wales, Northern Ireland and France.
