Minesto represented on EU list of most commercially attractive sustainable energy innovations
The report Accelerating sustainable energy innovations is produced by the EU body European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), and lists the most commercially attractive innovations available in sustainable energy according to EIT.
Minesto and its ocean energy technology Deep Green is represented on the list, which is described by Diego Pavía, CEO of EIT InnoEnergy as “the results of ten years of investment in sustainable energy solutions. The result is the proven, landmark innovation you need to reduce energy costs, increase system performance, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, create jobs, and increase competitiveness”.
Sweden is the third most represented country on the list. Speaking to Techarenan News, Sweden’s Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation Ibrahim Baylan said: “When international comparisons on innovative countries are made, Sweden is repeatedly ranked high up, and in the EU we have been the most innovative country for several years in a row.”
